Osteria Al Guerriero

It is located on Petrarch Square and is recognizable by its black wrought-iron sign depicting a warrior in arms. Curiously and almost "mysteriously" a vine emerges from the wall at a height of approx. 3 m (10 ft), a very rare "free-footed" vine (which has its own roots, not derived from rooted vines by grafting). It is Dorona, a prized variety of Garganega that was very common at the time of the Most Serene Republic of Venice, estimated to be 150 to 200 years old.
